3-bedroom shared house, Hopetoun st

Welcome to our modern family home, located in Wollongong’s desirable northern suburbs, close to beaches, shops and only 10km from the UOW campus. We even have a swing chair on our large back deck where you can let the friendly king parrots eat out of your hand as you sip your morning coffee!

The room
The room is beautifully decorated and comes with a queen size bed, chest of drawers, clothes rack, desk, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The main bathroom is mostly yours to use (shared occasionally with the kids).

Location
Woonona’s main shopping strip begins at the end of our street, with the supermarket a 5 min walk. Our home is a short 8 min cycle ride to the nearest beach at Bulli/Sandon Point, and close to the trendy seaside towns of Thirroul and Austinmer (our fave beach). You’ll be seriously well located staying here.

About us
We are a family of four, including two children, 8 and 7 years old. We also have two cats – Phantom and Guinness. They are extremely gentle and keep to themselves mostly (but love hugs). It is therefore only suitable to people who are comfortable living with children and cats.

We have hosted students for the last two years, and love getting to know new people and cultures. We speak English and French at home, and are trying to encourage the kids to speak French, so priority would be given to French-speaking students.
We love to cook and appreciate good food, so you will eat well here (food available at an additional weekly charge, otherwise you’re welcome to provide your own).
